About Us

The Paris Lions Cub was founded in 1931 and is celebrating 90 years of community involvement. Over the years, our Club has participated in many local projects. The largest of these has been the creation and ongoing refurbishment of Lions Park, which was the first major project undertaken in 1931!!

Our Motto ‘We Serve’ can be seen in the many diverse programs we are involved in or support. Diabetes awareness and Research, Vision Screening, Guide Dog Programs plus many local projects to improve our town are examples of our community involvement.

Our major fundraising source is our Food Truck, which you will always see at major events in Paris. These events include The Paris Lions Club Maple Syrup Festival, Spring time in Paris, the Vintage Motorcycle Rally, and of course, the Paris Fair. While the current pandemic continues, it is not safe for the Food Truck to operate and so, we are turning to other options like online ‘Catch the Ace’ to continue fundraising.

By participating in ‘Catch the Ace’, you are supporting the Paris Lions Club in all its community endeavours, and for this we are truly grateful.

Should you want to become more involved with the Paris Lions Club, please contact us at: secretary@lionsclubofparis.ca. You will not only get to know and volunteer with a dedicated group of community-minded individuals, but you will also be a member of the international community of Lions Clubs.
